The commercials began months ago. Cinderella double toe looping, Rapunzel flying, Tiana twirling – what little girl wouldn’t beg to see Disney on Ice: Dare to Dream with all of her princess faves?

Coinciding with Valentine’s Day, Ryan and I thought Disney on Ice would be the perfect treat for our sweeties. We had no clue that the two of us would love it just as much as our little girls!
Here’s a tip: whenever attending anything Disney related, shop ahead of time and bring surprises with you. Before the show, I took a trip to Old Navy and picked up a Cinderella tee for Madeline and Rapunzel tee for Ellie. In the party supply section of Target I grabbed princess crowns and magic wands. While it still didn’t keep Ellie from asking for a Disney on Ice floating lantern magic wand thingy, it at least made saying no go over better.
The girls loved wearing their princess shirts, pettiskirts and crowns!
After grabbing a walking lunch of pizza, we headed to our seats to wait for the show to begin.

The ice all ready to go, you could feel the excitement in the room!

There were lots of silly photos taken while waiting. I admit, I could get used to this crown thing!
Disney on Ice was magical! It told the stories of “The Princess and the Frog”, “Cinderella” and “Tangled.” Each story had it’s definite wow moments, but “Tangled” was the most impressive. Flynn Rider and Rapunzel twirled through the air and Maximus was amazing. Whoever is the tail end of that horse needs a bonus!
For the grand finale, all of the princesses from Ariel to Mulan graced the ice.

Our seats were great. We were center ice, in the third most expensive section and we were still REALLY close to the action. Officially we were 20 rows from the ice. Unless you are on the ice, there is really no reason to spring for the super pricey seats. You definitely would want to be on the main level though to see the details.
Overall, we give Disney on Ice: Dare to Dream 5 Floating Lanterns!

I can’t WAIT to do things like this with my little lady!
It is like being a kid all over again. Don’t even get me started on going to American Girl Place!
Ahhh! The Dare to Dream show looks like so much fun:) We got tickets to the 100 Years of Magic for next month, in celebration of our daughters birthday so seeing this just makes me even more excited for one of their shows!
Have a great time! That one looks really fun!
That’s a great idea. My kids need something fun to look forward to. I’ll have to see when Disney on ice is coming to my area. Thanks for the great idea
