The “I Could’ve Been A Container” collection from The Land of Nod is a great way to get organized for back to school. My oldest daughter had taken to taping her drawings all over the walls and it was sometime between her asking for the tape and seeing the eighth drawing go up that I knew we had to get organized.
Our family received the I Could’ve Been A Things Bin, Could’ve Been A Desk Organizer, I Could’ve Been A Magazine Organizer and I Could’ve Been A Memo Board to put them to the kid organization test.
Selecting fun colors that coordinate with our playroom and the girls’ shared bedroom, the I Could’ve Been A Container collection is great for little hands and works well in our home. The Memo Board has removable clothes pins that hold up their latest creations. The Magazine Organizer is great for their prized magazines and catalogs that seem to arrive in multiples daily.
Since all day kindergarten is a LONG day for a five year old, we purchased Post-Its to leave notes in our daughter’s lunch box. Now obsessed, our kids love to store the Post-Its, colored pencils, sequins/craft bits and their latest cards in the Desk Organizer. Glue, sciscors, makers, crayons and more have found their new homes in the Things Bin.
While we chose to use the I Could’ve Been A Container Collection in our kids’ space, it would work well in a kitchen, family room, office or anywhere in your home you would like to display projects and stay organized.

My kids have become OBSESSED with coloring and their zillion crayons, markers, coloring books, and recycled paper from my office are taking over! I try to organize but my efforts would be greatly assisted with some of these adorable storage containers. And I’d probably steal that magazine holder for myself….I’m great for printing recipes off the internet and I have a pile on my counter that needs serious help!
