Wow, what a weekend!
Saturday I had the honor of hosting the #GracoSafety events at the Niles, IL Babies R Us. Along with my assistant, the adorable Keely, we introduced bloggers, friends and Babies R Us customers to the Graco Snugride Click Connect 40 – the ONLY rear facing car seat from 4-40 pounds and up to 2 years!
All I can say about the Graco Snugride Click Connect 40 is that I really, really, really, really, really wish it would be have around 6 years ago when we were registering for infant car seats. At the time we purchased the top of the line Graco Sungride that went up to 22 pounds. But that was also the before the American Academy of Pediatrics changed their recommendation to stay rear facing until 2 years old. Did you know your child is 5 times safer riding rear facing?
Ok, back to the event… Keely and I along with our friendly Babies R Us store manager, Wes, set up for the #GracoSafety event with snacks and waited to guests to arrive. While waiting we familiarized ourselves with the new Graco Click Connect products. The “Click Connect” refers to the one click technology that makes snapping the car seat into the Click Connect stroller a breeze – perfect for the busy parents on the go.
What really stands out about the Graco Snugride Click Connect 40 is the adjustable base that has 8 different positions to let you adjust the amount of leg room and angle of the seat as the baby grows. With two tall children of my own, it was difficult to keep them rear facing until 2 because they looked so scrunched and uncomfortable back there! I’ve got two small/petite aged children with varying SN/medical disabilities so having an opportunity to win this would make a difference. (I’d start by getting something that helps my son on the spectrum stay in his seat belt) since no matter what I get he manages to get out of it seems *sigh*

I’m not exactly sure. It would depend on what I needed or if something caught my eye. I would like an activity play mat…or a bouncer…or a jumper. This carseat looks awesome but we just bought a Britax and it seems silly to replace it when our son hasn’t grown out of it yet.
