Miou Kids
January 31, 2013
It was fitting that my package from Miou Kids arrived on the coldest day this year. I opened it up to discover beautiful handmade knit pieces which are incredibly soft, stylish and warm. Best of all, they’re made from baby alpaca wool which is hypoallergenic and easy to clean. As you can see, the pieces are completely adorable and my little one loved wearing them. She’s not the only one, Jessica Alba’s daughter Honor was recently spotted in Miou apparel.
Miou Kids was conceived by Christine Dubin, a native of France who now resides in Gibsons, B.C., Canada. Dubin’s mission is to have a positive impact in the world and she contributes to this by empowering and employing artisans in Peru, where her pieces are hand knit. By providing them with fair wages, they are able to earn a living and support their families. In addition, she provides 5% of all profits towards the education of her employees’ children. Fashion that is both stylish and socially conscious? Count me in!
Miou Kids has a variety of items from buntings to apparel and accessories for infants and boys and girls (sizes 0-6 months to 5 years). Miou Kids has a special discount just for readers – use code thelittlestylefile to receive 20% off your next purchase.

You can tell from the photo that the clothes are really soft without the description. That speaks a lot. And you are right, how stylish! Love the leg warmers.
