Disney on Ice Rockin’ Ever After | Video

This is our second year attending Disney on Ice and our entire family loves it! Auntie Lauren came along this time and we had a girls’ night out complete with princess dresses, crowns and glittery shoes.  We’re spilling the secrets and all you need to know to have a magical trip to Disney on Ice.

TIP: Swing by the Disney Store or your local big box store first to get souvieniers and goodies.  You will save tons because everything at the show is super pricey.

Here’s a little insider info:  there are two types of girls at the princess edition of  Disney On Ice – the girls in the princess dresses and the girls wanting to be in the princess dresses.  Let your little princess wear the costume that’s hanging in the playroom.  Last year we went with princess graphic tees and tutus and that was NOT acceptable once we saw all of the other little girls dressed to the nines.

This year I pulled out the curling iron for princess hair, dabbed on a little blush and a little bitty bit of lip gloss and my two girls were transformed into Merida and Cinderella before my very eyes.

In Disney on Ice Rockin’ Ever After, Ariel, Merida, Belle and Rapunzel spin and twirl while telling their stories through song.  There are no other princesses in this show (in Dare to Dream all of the princesses make an appearance at the end).  If you child has a favorite that isn’t featured in this show, you might want to let them know ahead of time so they aren’t disappointed.  Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy are the hosts as they showcase everyone’s talents.

Here are our favorite moments from Disney on Ice Rockin’ Ever After!

So much fun!  Ticket prices vary but there are discounted seats during weekdays and weeknights.

What are your tips for Disney on Ice?

A special thank you to A Savings Wow!, we won our tickets this year!

  2. I LOVE taking my kids to shows like that – great tip about getting the souvenirs FIRST!

  3. We always take ring pops and dollar store light up wands to Disney on Ice (hide the ring pops!) Love that Old navy dress; it’s my favorite from their spring kids line!
