In just about a month Kristin and I are heading to the New York City for BlogHer! We thought the best way to learn the secrets of the Big Apple would be to find out the favorite spots from our New York City blogger friends! Brianne once was a fashion showroom owner and when her son was born she sold it to become a full time mom. She realized that it was hard to find cool stuff for kids and decided to document all the fun finds she discovered being a new mom with Stroller in the City! Her blog has now become a creative outlet while being able to stay home with her kids.

TLSF: What is your favorite date night spot in NYC?

Brianne: My husband and I just went to Catch in the meatpacking district. It has become my new fav spot. Great food, atmosphere, and energy.

TLSF: What favorite place to spend the day with your kids in NYC?

Brianne: My kids and I are mostly outside, so I would say the park. Our favorite is the Pier 25 park. There is miniature golf there as well. For indoor days we love Moomah.

TLSF: What is the best place to find a cute outfit for a night out on the town?

Brianne: Wink in Soho. They carry very fun and unique pieces.

TLSF:  What is one must have every NYC mom should have in their closet?

Brianne: Comfy yet stylish shoes. NYC mamas do tons of walking. I recently just purchased a pair of Dolce Vita flats and they've been good to my feet so far.

TLSF: Best Cupcakery?

Brianne: Billy's Bakery always has the most delicious cupcakes!

TLSF: Favorite Brunch spot?

Brianne: Tinys in TriBeCa has a great brunch. Although it stands true to its name as "tiny" so pack lightly.

TLSF: Best place to grab a cup of coffee?

Brianne: Laughing Man on Duane St makes yummy coffee. Try their "flat white".

TLSF: What is one thing everyone visiting NYC should do?

Brianne: I think the best way to actually see all of NYC is to take one of the tour buses around the city. That way you are guaranteed to see it all.

TLSF: What is your favorite thing about living in NYC with kids?

Brianne: I absolutely love love living in NYC. For me it's the vibe and excitement of your surroundings. Everyday is different for us and you never know who you will run into.

TLSF: If you had a 3 hours by yourself in NYC, what would you do?

Brianne: Wow a whole 3 hours ;). I probably would write some articles for my blog since lately that's been hard to do. I also would pamper myself with a little mani/pedi.

TLSF: Must visit museum?

Brianne: My favorite place to take Ryder is the Museum of Natural History. There's just something about the dinosaurs that never gets old.

TLSF: What is your favorite Boutique to shop for your kids?

Brianne: My favorite spot for my kids is Piccolini. It's a darling little boutique located on Mulberry Street. She carries everything from toys, clothing, and gifts for kids.
