Last week I shared with you that Mia has chosen the Disney Glidden Paint color Air Kiss for her room. Ever since she had picked out this pretty pink color and the speciality finish all that glitters, she has been dying to see it on her walls! She was ready to say goodbye to the yellow that she has been living with for over 6 years.

Disney Glidden Paint | Before Makeover

I was a little nervous at the thought of putting glitter on Mia's walls. We decided to apply it to just one accent wall. The how to video eased my mind. You are probably wondering if the Disney Glidden Paint "all that glitters" was really that easy to use . It was! I love that it gives the wall a slight shimmer but it isn't too much. I describe it as putting on a clear glitter nail polish. If you do a second coat you would definitely get some more sparkle! Choosing a good pink can be a hard task and again this mom was nervous!

I went with a very light pink because I would rather it be too light than too dark. I did not want a bubble gum pink on Mia's walls. Seeing the paint up on the walls was so exciting.  Mia and I are loving the new pink room!

Mia picked out bedding Sherbet Striped bedding and decided wanted to go with a butterfly theme in her room. I purchased sparkly paper butterflies to put on her large wall. Mia is a Disney girl and still loves princesses. Kristin created wall art from the Disney "I am a Princess" commercial that you probably have seen on television. She also created some fun butterfly graphics. (Its great to have an artsy business partner!) If you love both of the pieces she designed, be on the look out for a free printable in a few weeks!

I cannot wait to share Mia's new bedroom!  We are planning a fun Tangled Princess PJ Party for the big reveal! Stay Tuned!
