When I think of Motherhood and what it means to me a few words come to mind that describe it and the things one goes through:

MIGHTY

For strength is needed when the going gets tough.

ONE-STEP AHEAD

Because children will always try to pull a fast one on you.

THRIFTY

So that you can take ten dollars and turn it into diapers, wipes, and food (trust me it can be done).

HUMOROUS

Your kids are going to do some insane things, most times your initial reaction will be to scream and shout, but remember it can't all be that bad. Laugh at it some times, because it really will be funny.

EMPATHETIC

To understand your children when all they can give you is a look.

REASONABLE

You have to be fair and just. Sometimes.

HUMAN

As much as we try to be, we are not super beings. We are human and we make mistakes. So we must remember this.

OPEN-MINDED

Your kids will bring home so many new things and ideas, and the best way to handle them is to just dive in. Of course make sure they are safe first silly.

OVERFLOW OF LOVE

You can never give too much love. Even when they don't want it, lay it on even more. They will eventually appreciate it.

DISCIPLINE

This one is a little touchy, but hey I believe everyone needs a little discipline. Be willing to give the "I mean business" look when necessary and timeout never killed anyone, it only makes them stronger.

Mother's Day How do you define Motherhood?
