I participated in an Ambassador program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Kohl’s. I received Kohl’s gift cards and sample pieces to facilitate my posts and as a thank you for participating.

If you haven't heard Chicago has had one one the worst winters in about 36 years. That means all of us in the Midwest are currently thawing out and counting down the minutes until Spring comes. I myself celebrate my Birthday on the first day of Spring. March for me always means shopping for my Spring Style. This year I couldn't be more excited to check out the trends for Spring!

I recently headed  to my local Kohl's to do a little shopping alone when both kids were in school. Kohl's is my go to store for the latest trends at affordable prices. We have a store withing 10 minutes of our house and that makes shopping a lot easier for a  busy mom!  It truly is like therapy when I am shopping alone. I had a blast going through each of the Women's Departments and checking out all of the latest spring trends. I saw pink everywhere! I particularly love adding pink to my wardrobe in the spring. If you are not sure how to add pink to your wardrobe, add a pink  scarf, shoes or necklace to add a pop of color!

Roll Cuff Denim is a must have in my "mom on the go" wardrobe. You can easily pair them with flats, sandals during the day and they look just as good with a wedge or a pair of heels at night. I found a pair Vera Wang Roll Cuffed Jeans while shopping at Kohl's that I had to purchase. They had a perfect amount of stretch, were very soft and I loved the thick cuff on the jeans.

I found several items that will make transitioning into spring easy. Layering right now is key when the weather is changing.  I paired a Black Daisy Fuentes Cardigan with a Sonoma pink tank and a gorgeous pink statement necklace.

I am looking forward to adding some fun stripes, pretty lace tops and cool shoes to my spring wardrobe!

What are you looking to add to your spring wardrobe?
