Spring is upon us and it’s time to change gears and start having some spring fun! I wanted to share some great snack, craft ideas and fun activities that will be perfect if you are staying home for spring break!
Make a recycled bird feeder. I thought this craft looked really fun and was pretty simple to do. It’s a great way to recycle a milk or orange juice container, and the kids will have fun watching the birds come and feast away!
Create a butterfly Snack Craft. It’s a fun craft combined with dressing up a healthy snack! This would be great for a birthday party, or a fun way to liven up your little one’s lunch at school!
Adopt An Endangered Animal, the National Wildlife Federation gives you the opportunity to adopt an endangered animal by donating as little as $20 or up to $100. There are many animals to choose from, and in return, your little one will get an adoption kit. It’s a great way for our children to participate in helping save these animals.
If your little ones are obsessed with the movie Frozen like most kids are these days, this Polymer Clay Olaf Craft is a really fun craft to do. They can make their own Olaf out of polymer clay. It’s super easy and well, yes, you can play “Let It Go” or “Summer” while you make them!
I've made this Homemade bubble solution with my daughter and it was awesome! We bought some giant bubble wands on Amazon and used them with this solution to make the biggest, coolest bubbles ever! They even had a slight rainbow effect!
I love hanging mobiles in my daughters room , especially ones she has made! I thought this April Showers Craft was really sweet and easy to make. They would work great for a classroom craft as well!
There are so many ways to make a snack look fun and enticing to eat! I love these Spring Flower Snacks for making healthy snacks look like flowers. Not only will kids love to eat them, but they’d have a lot of fun helping put them together!
What crafts will you be making this spring?
