Over the past seven years I've owned many a diaper bag. Some that look like diaper bags, some trying to hide the fact that they are diaper bags. I never really found what I was looking for, which is probably why there are so many sitting in an unpacked box in the basement of our new house right now. But today I am going to show you the perfect diaper bag and as the owner of at least seven other diaper bags, I can explain all of the reasons why my Lily Jade diaper bag is my favorite diaper bag.
First, is style. This leather bag is pretty. Really pretty. I love the 'brandy' color but it also comes in red and black. It's a gorgeous bag that makes you want to pick it up and put it on your shoulder every day.
The Lily Jade bag itself is versatile. You can wear this style, the Caroline, three different ways - as a cross body bag...
On your arm...
Or use the two short handles on your shoulder.
The leather of the bag is soft and the straps worn all three ways are nothing but comfortable. Right now I'm almost always wearing it as a cross body because I am usually also lugging around an infant car seat. I love that I don't have to worry about straps falling down or the bag falling off my shoulder.
Now that you've fallen in love with the outside, you must see the inside.
The red lining is great because you can easily find things like a phone, wallet, etc. What makes the interior really special is that it is completely removable so you could either put all of the contents of your diaper bag into another bag or use this great bag when the diaper days are done as a regular tote!
Now do you see why this is my favorite diaper bag of all? I can promise you that in a few years when I'm no longer toting diapers, bottles and zippy cups, this Lily Jade bag will be in my regular rotation. When the inside organizer is removed, there are still pockets in the lining and the bag is roomy enough for a laptop or to pack everything you need for a day in the city.
What do you look for in the perfect diaper bag?
Thank you to Lily Jade for providing a bag for this review. All opinions are honest and my own.
