Spring is here… finally! For me that means overhauling all 5 of my kids closets, putting bags of good will donations together, storing the hand me downs and making lists of what each one will need. Have you started yet? Here are a few helpful hints when going through your littles clothes.

  • divide up the clothes into category while still hanging in the closet
  • don't be afraid to have your kids try things on, sometimes you can get 2 seasons out of certain pieces depending on how their cut
  • look over what works and determine what items they will need and sizing
  • when shopping it's helpful to have a visual style boards like below.

A few tips when shopping:

-shop for staples like a good pair of denim, kahki's, neutral layering pieces, items you can restyle over and over

-bring in the trends by adding a floral print pant or statement plaid top which can be easily layered with a hoodie or paired with a denim vest. (think 1 statement piece in each outfit, the rest can be classics)

-do allow your kids personalities to shine by adding some fun pieces

My absolute favorite thing about shopping for each new season is finding just the right accessories! I love unique and fun accessories that either make your look come to life or polish it off perfectly. I started my business  5 years ago designing handcrafted custom accessories for photo shoots and then began selling them shortly after. My twins finally have enough hair for top knots, so this season I designed custom floral bobbys that stick right into the bun and add just the right bit of flare. I have been contributing as a stylist for TLSF for over a year now and would love to thank them and you by offering one of these custom bobbys 50% off through an instagram flash sale.
