Thank you to Allstate for sponsoring today's post.  We're in good hands. Last year, New York based Mommy Shorts blogger, Ilana Wiles started the “Monday Morning Series” with lifestyle photographer Raquel Bianca to show moms there is beauty in their mornings as hectic as they may be.  Now the "Monday Morning Series" is hitting the road and featuring moms across the country.  We are excited and honored to give you a glimpse into our mornings as a new family of five.

These days our mornings start around 5:15 am.  Will, our 8 week old, has been sleeping longer stretches.  Now he's 9pm until around 5am.  I love the longer stretches of sleep, but there is no time to fall back to sleep if he wakes up after 4:30am.  So up at 5:15 we go....

We moved two days before Will was born.  Obviously we are crazy people.  But with the move came a much earlier wake up time for our oldest daughter.  The bus now arrives at 7:10 so she is up by 6:30.  Every night we put the girls each in a bunk and every morning we find them together.  Did I mention they each have their own rooms?  They would never dream of sleeping apart.

Ryan meets us in the kitchen for goodbye kisses and he is off to work.  Since Will has been around, Madeline has become very self sufficient.  With an island microwave, she can now make her own breakfast.

Will, who is the perfect third child and totally chill, just hangs out watching the morning unfold.  He's had his bottle and is a happy camper.

After breakfast Ellie heads upstairs to brush her teeth and get ready for first grade.  Her toothbrush plays a two minute song and she has a great time brushing to the tunes.

With softball season in full swing, Ellie finishes a little spelling homework before the bus comes.  Madeline and Will continue to hang out in their pj's since preschool doesn't start for 90 minutes after Ellie leaves for the day.

At 7:10 the bus arrives and then the littles and I relax until preschool drop off.  Overall our mornings run pretty smoothly but in the hustle it's sometimes hard to remember to stop and enjoy the Good Life.  We're lucky to have early risers who wake up happy.  Now bedtime?  That's an entirely different story!
