Lamborghini. Porche. Corvette. Many people are obsessed with fancy cars and all of their gadgets and gizmos. Since becoming a mom, I have be come obsessed with...strollers. Yes, I'll admit it, I have asked many a mom what brand her stroller was when I used to ask what brand another gal's jeans were (I still do that, just added the stroller branding into my convo).
This has lead me to acquire a number of strollers for different scenarios, similar to how a car aficionado acquires a number of luxury vehicles (a huge stretch, I know, but bear with me). I have a massive stroller that is basically ready for offroad adventure- it is my Hummer stroller. It is rugged, sturdy, and weighs about a million pounds. I just don't want to deal with it all the time, especially if I am juggling kids and gear. This is why I searched for a lightweight umbrella stroller, but it still needed all the conveniences. Impossible to find? It is almost like the Shelby Cobra of strollers, but yes- I found it!
I had the privilege of testing out the Baby Cargo Series 300 Lightweight Umbrella Stroller (300 Series- see? Sounds like a BMW already!). From the minute I set it up (easy as pie- just step on a simple foot button) I was sold. It comes in 3 colors: Moonless Night, Ocean and Smoke- all incredibly stylish and modern.
This stroller has EVERYTHING, it is fully loaded:
- Retractable sunshade extends to shield your child from harmful UV rays: includes 2 loops to secure baby toys. Wood rattle ring included.
- Reclining, adjustable backrest and footrest- perfect for naps
- Removable infant positioner
- A reversible, removable mattress pad can be machine washed- AMAZING! My other stroller looks like it belongs in the dumpster because I can't wash it.
- Five point safety harness
- Smartphone pocket with accessible window
- Compact, easy to fold design
- Ultra-lightweight frame
- Under stroller cargo basket
- Includes rain cover & cup holder
What more could you want? It is even tall enough for my 6'5" husband to comfortably push it- a huge bonus in my book!
I also tried out the Fiona Bag, which is of course designed to go with the Baby Cargo stroller line. This diaper bag is sleek, easily accessible, and has pockets for diapers, wipes, AND bottles! It attaches to the Baby Cargo stroller by sliding onto the handles. I love the fact that this is a crossbody diaper bag- I had to change my daughter in a not-so-clean public restroom yesterday and could access all of my changing needs while the bag was on me. With other diaper bags, I have to put it on the floor (ewwwww) to find everything I need. It is available in 4 colors: Cool Aqua, Moonless Night, Deep Ash and Slate.
