What is always on the top of my daughters' wish list year after year? American Girl, which happened to be what was also at the top of my list when I was their age. This year Ellie is longing for Julie to be under our tree. Julie is a Beforever doll from the 70's and has tie dye and peace signs, Ellie's two current favorite things.
With Madeline on the dance team this year, she has her heart set on Isabelle, the 2014 doll of the year. Isabelle is only available until December 31st or while supplies last.
I'm so excited to pass down my Samantha doll to my girls this year. After a visit to the doll hospital, she will be returning shortly looking as good as new. It will be so fun to mix my old outfits and accessories with the new Beforever items.
American Girl sparks countless hours of imagination. They are the go to toys for my girls and their friends. With kids growing up so fast, I'm happy to have a brand that understands age appropriate play.
This year American Girl is giving back in a big way. For every doll purchased now until December 18th, American Girl will donate a doll to a child in the hospital, up to 1,000 dolls per day! The donation-worth nearly $3 million in retail value-will help bring comfort and cheer to thousands of young girls receiving care in any of the Association's 200 U.S. member hospitals.
