I have  teamed up for Olay for today's post.

2014 was a BIG year for me, I turned 40! I was lucky that my husband planned a big celebration with my close friends and family. It made turning 40 a lot easier surrounded by  the people I love.

Hitting a big milestone birthday, it made me really think about how you live your life. As a mother  of 2 kids that are 8 and 5 years old, life is busy. Having a beauty routine that is easy but effective is necessary.  A few years ago I realized that the mornings were difficult for me to find time to eat breakfast. My time was spent making the kids breakfast, packing lunches and getting them ready for school. I found that making a green smoothie was a great solution! It is easy to mix up my favorite smoothie and drink it while getting my tasks done for the kids. The kids enjoy helping make my smoothie too!

There comes a time in every women's life that you need to use skincare. I recently have added Olay Regenerist Luminous Tone Perfecting Cream to my daily beauty routine. I use it prior to putting my makeup on in the morning and at night. It immediately makes my skin feel soft. The perfecting cream reduces the appearance of dark spots, brightens, exfoliates and smoothes the skin!

Keeping hydrated during my busy day is very important. My go-to lately has been adding a lemon to my water.  Lemon water in the morning kickstarts your metabolism, digestive system, and helps your kidneys flush out toxins.

Olay is a worldwide leader in skin care and has been trusted by women for over 60 years, maintaining its founding philosophy: to maintain a deep understanding of women’s changing needs and to combine products that fit their needs with the latest advances in skin care technology. Regenerist was created along those lines to address women’s anti-aging needs, and millions of women have tried it and loved it, making Regenerist the #1 anti-aging moisturizer.*Based on Nielsen data week ending 2/1/14.
