Three letters mean so much.  Growing up it meant the person we could always count on.  Someone who was always on our side and loved us no matter what.  The person who encouraged us to do our best and always let us sleep in her room when we had a bad dream. I always loved my mom.  But on March 2, 2007, when my first baby was put into my arms I looked at my mom and thought wow, I never knew how much she loves me until this very moment.

Now that I have three little people that call me mom - well one calls me mama, one calls me mom and the baby calls me dada but he'll get there someday- my whole world has changed.  Being a stay at home mom is not at all like I pictured.  We joked that I 'retired' from work but really my work went from 40 hours a week to nonstop!  Being responsible for tiny lives is the biggest (and sometimes most stressful) job around.  The balance of showing them love and boundaries is never easy.  But when the running to school and activities and homework and grocery shopping stops and you get an extra second of a snuggle or an out of the blue I love you, it's easy to be overcome by how much you love those kids.  Seriously, these three are my heart.
