My kids both headed back to school one week ago. I love my kids so much, we had an amazing summer going on a lot of adventures. By the end of the summer, I was exhausted. You would of thought that having an empty house during the day would have me jumping for joy, right? I was that mom crying when I walked into the house after seeing them get on the bus. The feeling is strange and hard to put into words. I am now in a new chapter trying to find my place and getting into a regular routine.
In order to find a happy balance for myself while they are in school, I realized I need to plan out my week every Sunday. This will help me more productive on a daily basis. Starting with a workout is key especially for my own sanity when it gets cold outside. I am trying to do this 3 days a week.
I have also realized that I am much more productive getting work done when I am not in my house. I like to work from my local Starbucks or library. My travel companion is my ASUS Intel 2 in 1. I love that it is small, can easily fit into most of my handbags. Two things that I love most about my Intel 2 in 1, is it's light weight and the battery life is better than my laptop. I have been able to set up the OneDrive and can share/access documents and photos that are on my laptop from my Intel 2 in 1. How cool is that?
I personally love using the keyboard but in a quick second I can detach it and use my ASUS has a tablet. Which comes in handy when I am doing research on pinterest or just want to get on facebook.
The next few weeks I hope to find the perfect balance and happiness for me with a regular schedule.
How do you handle having a quiet house during the day?
