It is feeling and looking more like fall in our area. We live around a ton of forest preserves, rivers and lakes. Our family loves to be outside and explore the great outdoors. Taking hikes is something we love to do (all year long) but especially in the fall. Seeing the color changes on the trees is a favorite of ours.
Being on the trails is a time we can all enjoy as a family without any distractions. The best part for me is watching my kids being outside and bonding together.
Dressing for Fall is all about layers. In the mornings it can be a low of 40 but it can get as warm as 65-70 in the afternoon (like it was yesterday). Both of the kids love wearing active wear on the weekend and for school. Its comfortable and easy way to get them dressed an out the door. When shopping for active wear that I know the kids will approve of, we head to Sports Authority.
Mia is in 4th grade. Her favorite colors are pink, purple and blue. She likes to dress in fun colors. Leggings and cool shoes are a staple in her wardrobe. She chose the Under Armour Girls HeatGear Capris, North Face Jacket that is perfect for this time of year and new balance shoes.
Dylan is your typical 6 year old boy that loves comfort over style the majority of the time. His The North Face hoodie is a favorite this time of year. He also chose Nike Boy's Fly Shorts and adidas Boys LK Running shoes.
You can find the best on trend active wear at affordable prices that your kids will love at Sports Authority.
I was provided with a Sports Authority gift card for this post. All opinions are honest and my own.
