Every year the same thing happens over Christmas break. You know what I am talking about right? Our kids start climbing the walls, getting cabin fever and the fighting begins, even with all of the new toys they received from Santa. We are lucky to live in the suburbs of Chicago with access to some of the best places to entertain kids. Christmas break is the a great time to explore Chicago and go on fun memory making adventures. Kristin and I planned to take the kids to Winter WonderFest at Navy Pier. When we arrived at Navy Pier it was packed and we were worried about waiting in long lines.

We quickly talked the kids into switching up our plans and took them to the Chicago Children's Museum that is located at Navy Pier.

The Little Style File kids don't get to see each other a lot during the school year and when they do they have a blast together.

The Chicago Children's Museum has lots to offer both little and big kids. Everything is very hands on and interactive at this museum. Its very easy to navigate through especially with little kids. In the summer you could enjoy the museum and then enjoy everything Navy Pier has to offer outside!

The highlight of our visit was climbing the Schooner, playing in the treehouse, creating in the tinkering lab, building a skyscraper, playing in snow so much fun and making a mini movie in the Story Hub.

The kids of course didn't want to leave and are already planning their next visit to the Chicago Children's Museum.

On January 24th join HBO and Sesame Street for a Free Museum Day at the Chicago Children's Museum!
