When the seasons change and the tas fade, I always get the itch to switch things up a bit. I can't tell you how many times I've chopped my hair in the fall. And I almost did it again this year but decided to try something different instead.

1. Move it to the middle.

If your tired of your same old hair, move your part to the middle. It sounds silly, but moving your part over can be just enough of a change to satisfy your craving. Another hair refresher you can try is going bed head wavy or back to poker straight. Don't forget to up the lowlights in the fall for a fresher look.

2. Go bold

Deeper, richer lip colors are in this season and it's a fun change from the neutrals I was wearing all summer.  A bold lip can totally change for face and brighten up an outfit. My color for the season is Sheer Berry Lipsense. The fact that it stays on all day long is another bonus.

3. Come undone.

Cutoffs have been so popular lately it's not a big surprise it's transitioned into fall. Raw hem jeans are a fun change. Wear them a little cropped with booties, flats or heels for a big impact.

Raw hem jeans are everywhere, like these from Banana Republic.  Or you can make your own out of an old pair of jeans by cutting just above them hem and using tweezers the pull out threads.

Another way to refresh your fall style is to go wide. Wide leg or flare jeans can be a fun change from the skinnies we've been wearing the past few years

How are you changing up your look this fall?
