Parenthood can sometimes feel isolating.  Most of the joys and the fails of being a mother happen with just you and your child.  The first smile, first words, first time using a potty - which is hopefully soon for a toddler living in this house! - all happen at home.  While it's nice to snap a pic and post to social media, it's so important to get together with friends to commiserate and celebrate parenthood, or as Dreft likes to call it, #Amazinghood.

Being a parent is amazing.  I'm literally amazed by something each of my kids does everyday.  Whether it's scoring perfect on a spelling test or our two year old walking around humming Darth Vader's theme music wielding a light saber or the amount of laundry that three children can accumulate in one day.  I promise, there's not a day that goes by where I'm not amazed!

My group of amazing friends was long overdue for a night of fun.  With the help of a container full of strawberry Bellinis and some great food, we spent the night catching up with each on recent vacations, plans for the summer and how the kids are all doing.

Some of us are expecting new babies...

But all of us are right in the middle of this thing called motherhood.  I mean, Amazinghood!

The party guests received Dreft Blissful Scent Boosters, Dreft Detergent and samples.  Even the moms without babies were excited to get their hands on Dreft because it's hypoallergenic and the smell reminds them of when their children were still babies.  New Dreft Blissfuls scent-beads are safe on all fabrics and can release freshness for up to two weeks.  Dreft has been the chosen baby laundry detergent for 80 years and is the detergent most recommended by pediatricians.  Plus it's kind of just tradition.  Smelling Dreft even brings the grandparents back to when their children were babies.
