Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are so much fun at our house. But so hectic! There have been years where I finally sit down at the end of the day and realize I have no pictures. No pictures of the kids in their holiday sweaters or of our tree filled with sentimental ornaments. Or of the holiday mantel.
This year for our annual photo session with Gina Cristine Photography, she offered to do a Holidays at Home photo session. I instantly loved the idea and can't believe how well our photos turned out.
While there are still a few posed photos, mostly Gina just captured us laughing and being together. The photo of the three kids is my favorite. Will totally crashed the girls' "sister picture" and was so proud of himself. We even brought in our little dog who turned 12 this year.
For outfits, I found the girls' Hanna Andersson sweaters and then we went from there. I pulled out the royal blue from Madeline's sweater for Will and added a plaid shirt underneath. Ryan loves flannel shirts in the cold weather months so it was easy to find a shirt in our color palate. My chunky turtleneck sweater works well as another neutral to tone down the bold colors we have going on.
