There is so much to love about the holidays! Decorating the tree, baking special holiday treats and, of course, a visit to Santa! The HGTV Santa HQ experience is back this year and it is filled with fun surprises.
At the HGTV Santa HQ there is no whining or complaining about a long line to see the Big Guy. Really, your kids will probably want to stay in the Elf Academy for a long time because there is just so many fun experiences.
First up is the Naughty or Nice meter. You can witness pure joy as kids realize they are on the nice list.
We think Santa may be pretty forgiving this year because all five in our group found their names on the right list. Honestly we had a few doubts. Lol!
Next up is turning everyone into an Elf and getting their Elf ID Cards! You pick an elf name and then share important details about yourself like your favorite food, favorite reindeer and your super power. Once finished, your Elf ID is emailed to you in case you might need it in the future.
The HGTV Santa HQ is beautifully decorated with tree lights that change colors and lots of snow. There are tons of photo opps!
Santa’s Control Center is next. There are tablets to use so you can really see the magic of the elves. Anywhere you see gears, if you hold up the tablet you will magically see the elves at work. It’s so cool!
After all of that fun in the Elf Academy, it was time to meet Santa!
Santa was so nice and let us take a ton of photos. Our whole group together and sets of siblings. The photographer made the kids feel at ease and did fun poses as well as more traditional poses.
When the visit was over we went home with our choice of image printed.
Then a little while later we received an email with all of the photos from the visit. This was great because it’s always so difficult to select just one photo to keep when you meet Santa. Now we have them all!
You can see more of the HGTV Santa HQ fun below!
Do you take your kids to visit Santa?
