This post is in partnership with Justice.
There's a lot to love about Justice as a parent. Their selection of sizes really can't be matched by any other store as they go up to a size 18-20 and have regular, slim, and plus for all of their sizes. It's the only store I know of that has slim skinny jeans which are about the only thing that fit my almost nine year old daughter, Madeline.
When we were asked to participate in the "We Are Justice" fashion show, Madeline literally jumped up and down. Unlike any other fashion show I've ever been to, this fashion show was for everyone. Anyone who wanted to pick out an outfit at Justice and walk the runway was encouraged to do so. No purchase or prior runway training necessary!
Outfit selection was really easy for Madeline. She saw a graphic tee that said "Paris is only a unicorn ride away," and she was sold. Add in a faux leather jacket, black lace skirt (with built in shorts), black sneakers, sunglasses and sequin bow and you have a Mads perfect back-to-school outfit from head to toe.
The #JusticeRunway signs made posing for pics even more fun.
Justice did a fashion show at every location across the country and thousands of girls showed up! At our store more than sixty girls in our store alone got to be creative, show of their own style and gain confidence by participating in this fashion show.
Finally it was time for the fashion show. The girls rocked the runway! The emcee announced everyone's names and favorite animals as well as described their outfits.
"This is Madeline! Her favorite animal is the narwhal because it's the unicorn of the sea!"
Doesn't that little backpack just totally give you flashbacks to your childhood?
After the show, all of the models received a certificate and then we got down to the business of more back-to-school shopping.
Of course we bought the outfit from the fashion show and the built in shorts with this cute skirt make it perfect for school.
Madeline was obsessed with this Limited Edition Unicorn Party sweatshirt.
And she even picked out a flip-sequin backpack for 3rd grade and a water bottle! We'll definitely be able to find her at the bus stop!
We stayed focused on back-to-school shopping but the room decor was really difficult to say no to. Plus we found tons of cute locker decorating supplies for Madeline's big sis.
With three kids, it's sometimes hard to get quality one on one time. Our Justice Fashion Show day was really special because it was just a Madeline and Mom day. We had the best time together!
Justice is always having super fun events at their stores so stay tuned to their website for all of the details. Our store was already signing girls up for the next fashion show in August! We can't wait!
