As my kids get older, they don't need a lot. I sometimes feel that we are buying toys just to put something under the tree. For the past few years I have asked their grandparents to give them a the gift of Experience. You can give them memberships to a zoo, museum, a trip, staycation, a play or musical. The list is really endless.
If you know me in real life, you know that I am very passionate about swimming. I grew up with a dad that loved the water and swimming was very important to him. I started swimming at the age 4 and was on swim teams until I went to college. I was a swim instructor, life guard, water ski instructorand had my WSI certification in high school and college. When I had Mia we enrolled her in swim lessons at 6 months. It was one of our favorite things to do with her. Bonding with your baby while teaching them how to swim is the best!
