Shopping for swim suits with Tweens is less than easy.

Stuck in that space between being a kid and a teenager, Tweens are wanting to be independent yet are becoming aware of their bodies. Our goal is to help our girls pick out swim wear that they feel great in and can handle their jumping, sliding and splashing.

ONE PIECES

For the most active Tweens in the water, a one piece might be the best choice. Stylish suits can still reflect their personalities.

This Hanna Andersson one piece is fun with a ruffle shoulder and contrast trim.  Or a classic Ralph Lauren one piece will work for a day or swim team practice and on to surf some waves.

 BIKINIS

For Tweens, we like a bikini top with coverage. High neck bikinis are super trendy right now and that is definitely a style we can get on board with. Ruffle tops also let girls feel comfortable.

TANKINIS

My oldest daughter loves a tankini. She thinks they are comfortable and loves to add a rash guard for beach days to avoid sun burns.

This tankini from Old Navy has two trends going on - peplum and mixed prints. It's fun and age appropriate.

This Boden tankini is sold in separates and has coordinating bikini tops and cover ups available so the mixing and matching possibilities are endless!

A tie halter and peplum bottom gives this floral tankini a little extra style.

What swim suits are your Tweens loving for Spring getaways?
