Santa has come to Chicago and when he's in town, he stays in the Santa Suite at the Swissotel!
The Santa Suite is located on the Island of Misfit Toys and can accommodate all of Santa's friends from Mrs. Claus to Rudolph.
A gorgeous gingerbread house and more Christmas trees than the kids could count decorate Santa's Chicago digs.
Santa's sleeping quarters are tastefully decorated with nutcrackers, greens and even a few cookies along with milk sit ready for him by his gorgeous view.
A letter writing station and mailbox is set up so children can mail their letters directly to the North Pole is also set up in the suite. Along with a promise that if you include your address, you'll get a response from Santa himself!
Finally it was time to see Santa Claus! His chair is red with gold trim surrounded by gold trees and decorated garland.
Santa was a great listener but also had some difficult questions for the kids. He really wanted to make sure they secured their spots on the nice list.
The children got to spend quite a bit of quality time with the big guy before he had to prepare for his next guests.
After visiting with Santa, it was time for breakfast. A decadent waffle bar was waiting for us. Whip cream, chocolate sauce, fruit and sprinkles were all options. Everyone loved every bite!
After breakfast, Crowning Event was ready to help us make flower crowns. We were shown to to turn gorgeous flowers, berries and greens into beautiful hair accessories.
Will even helped to make a crown for me. A Crowning Event's staff was so helpful and great with the kids.
The kids grew more and more confident as they built their crowns and they all loved their final products.
There are so many ways to enjoy the Santa Suite.
