Liberty Of London Style

Liberty Boy Shirt,  Liberty Print Pretty Nylon Backpack, Vans Liberty Authentic, Magnolia Top, Marilyn Dress, Camellia Slip On, Sophia Skirt

In 1875, Liberty of London opened its doors on Regent Street and has always been know for its innovative and eclectic design.   Liberty is known for their collection of printed cotton floral fabrics and the prints are iconic and a symbol of London design.  The Liberty prints are hugely popular with designers from all over the world and of course the prints are a hit across the pond as well.  I love how of the bright colored and intricate designs really make simple pieces stand out.  You can’t miss a Liberty print!

For us mommies adding a Liberty printed piece to our wardrobe will surely bring a playful touch to any outfit.  I love the J. Crew Liberty boy shirt in mixed prints and would look great over a pair of jeans for the school run.  How chic is the Marc by Marc Jacobs X Liberty Wiltshire backpack? Not only is it super stylish but it is also very useful when running around with the kids.   And we all need a good pair of sneakers when we are on the go and the collaboration between Vans and Liberty is perfect for looking trendy while staying comfortable.  Luckily for the girls, Peek Kids  has brought the Liberty print into their collection this fall.  Every girl definitely needs a little Liberty print in their wardrobe as they are just so sweet and can easily be paired with lots of pieces already in the closet.  My favorite item from the fall collection is the Camellia slip on.  It is girlie sneaker  done right with a cute print and for sure doesn’t need any extra sparkle or glitter! The British invasion is definitely here to stay!

Sibling Style: Memorial Day

Woohoo!  It's the unofficial start of summer this weekend.  If you have fun Memorial Day Weekend plans, here are stylish sibling outfits available at your local mall for your kids to show off their patriotic side!

JCrew's mini version, Crewcut Kids always has chic and stylish family clothes in store. family clothes red, white, blue

Next up are some of our favorite game day looks from The Children's Place.

Gap is always a staple on our trips to the mall for family clothes.  Mixing and matching pieces for baby, toddler and kid gives all of the little members of the family super cute looks.

While I'm proud to be an American, I typically don't dress my kids in head to toe red, white and blue.  When choosing outfits for a patriotic occasion, I try to stick with pieces that are navy and white or red and white and mix in fun accessories to make the complete look 'All American'.

What are your holiday weekend plans?  Will your family be wearing red, white and blue?

Mommy Style: To The Maxi!

As moms we sometimes put too much focus on our kids wardrobes and forget about our own (at least us TLSF moms)! Over the last 6 years of being a mom, I have realized that quality over quantity makes the most sense in my wardrobe. I try to look for pieces that will get the most bang for my buck! One of my must haves for spring/summer 2012 is a Maxi skirt. You may already have one in your closet from the past couple of seasons. We love a Maxi skirt because it is easy to dress it down with a t-shirt or tank, denim jacket and a pair of sandals to spend the day with your kids. It is a great way to feel stylish and chic but still be casual. You can also easily dress it up for a night out with your husband or a girls night out!

What is your #1 must have for spring/summer?
