Junebug For The Holidays

It can be hard to find cute holiday clothing for kids that are also coordinating with their siblings. Luckily our lovely sponsor, Junebug introduced us to their holiday line! Since I have a boy and girl it can be really hard to find coordinating looks for them. I was super excited to see that Wendy had created a shirt and bow tie that looks perfect with the Santa's Helpers Holiday dresses! I love the fact that while they coordinate they are not matchy matchy. Both the red and green Santa's Helper dresses are gorgeous! The moment Mia tried on her Santa's Helper dress she fell in love, she would wear it everyday and sleep in it,  if I let her! The dress has already made three appearances this holiday season! I love ties and bow ties for little dudes and this polka dot one is perfect because it isn't too serious! You can defintely do a lot with these dresses, you can mix things up to be a little bit casual and fun or go with a fancier look for your little girl!

Junebug gives back too! When you buy from Junebug you are also giving a child in need clothing. They happily support the children of Pentru Tine in Moldova. Make sure you like Junebug on facebook to keep up with their latest news!

We were given clothing from Junebug in order to conduct a product review. The opinions are honest and our own.

Dressing for the Holidays Simplified

The holidays are a time of fun, of get togethers and many wardrobe changes!  Dressing for holiday parties, a visit with Santa, holiday card photo shoot and a multitude of other events can get overwhelming - not to mention pricey.  The Little Style File will show you how to keep dressing for the holidays simple.

1.  Pick a color scheme and stick with it.  In this sample we have chosen black, ivory and red.  Each dress is unique and festive, but stays within the color scheme.

2.  Select simple but fun accessories that coordinate with the colors of all of the dresses.

3. Put the outfits together!

By selecting dresses, or outfits for boys, within the same color palate you only need one pair of shoes, one pair of tights, one set of hair accessories, jewelry, jacket, etc but you still get completely different looks for all of your holiday occasions.

This trick also works well for photo shoots.  The last thing your baby or toddler wants is to change tights or pants or shoes in the middle of getting their pictures taken.  Keep it simple and budget friendly by reusing shoes and accessories.

Thank you to the Z Family for sending us an email and inspiring this dressing for the holidays post.
