Kellogg's Great Starts Tips: Eat 'N' Play

Kellogg's LogoMy kids love to go out for breakfast.  I think the main reason why they love it so much is because our favorite local place has those fun little placemats with games and pictures to color.

Kind of like this one.

The Kellogg's Eat 'N' Play Placemat is easy to print at home and make breakfast feel a little more special.  My first grader's favorite part is the word search.  Her little sister likes to circle a bunch of letters and then ask what they spell.  Definitely our morning entertainment!

Handing out the placemat before school gives their brains a little jump start and gets them thinking and ready to learn before they step foot on the bus.

We are cereal obsessed in our house! Both my kids love to eat cereal for Breakfast and often eat it for a snack after school or even after dinner instead of dessert. I have noticed that lately they have been in a cereal rut. I wanted  to mix things a bit and make their cereal eating more fun! I created a DIY creal bar. I used my 4 favorite Kellogg's cereals, Rice Krispies, Frosted Mini-Wheats, Crispix and Frosted Flakes.

I should of created a cereal bar a long time ago! The cereals look pretty sitting on our counter and it makes it a lot more fun to eat cereal.

If you are ever in a bit of a cereal rut, mix it up!  Experimenting with flavor and texture of different cereals is a great way to keep breakfast a little unexpected.

Dylan and Mia both had a lot of fun mixing up their cereal!. I loved that they both ate cereals that they normally would not of eaten! Win for me as a mom! For more great starts tips visit Kelloggs.com/GreatStartTips or click here!
