Dressing for Disney World can be tricky. Kids need to be cool and comfortable in the hot and humid Florida weather but you will be taking a bazillion photos so you want everyone to be dressed cute, too! For our Disney Social Media Moms Celebration trip to Disney World, we partnered with Carter's and OshKosh to dress the kids day and night. Here are a few tips and tricks we learned about what kids should wear at Disney World that we're happy to pass on to you!
1. Coordinated Cuties
Betsy and I knew we would want a ton of photos of all five kids together or some combination of the kids on this once in a lifetime trip.
2. Bright is Best
Disney World is full of photo opps! From the different countries at Epcot to a safari in Animal Kingdom, you are sure to be snapping pics constantly on your trip. We noticed that when the kids were wearing bright colors they really stood out.
3. Rompers Rule
If you're taking girls to Disney World, take our advice and do lots of rompers!
Not only are rompers comfy and cute, they are great for going on rides and all of the adventures at Disney World!
The dressy feel of a romper is a great outfit to wear from day to night if you have fancy dinner plans.
4. Shoe Situation
There are no right or wrong shoes to wear at Disney World. If you are going to get the kids (or yourself) new shoes, make sure you purchase them far in advance and wear them a ton before you go so they are nice and broken in. And the shoes that end up working the best may surprise you! After having sneaker and athletic sandal options, Madeline ended up wearing her OshKosh flip flops every day. They were padded and she found them to be the most comfortable option.
5. Comfort is Key
You can always count on Carter's and OshKosh to have the softest knits and most comfortable clothes. When you're out at the parks you want clothes for the kids that they are going to want to wear. Getting dressed for the day at the parks or events at night was easy because the kids loved the look and feel of all of their vacation clothes from Carter's and OshKosh.
